Amitabh Apte

Amitabh Apte is the Chief Digital and Business Technology Officer at Barilla where he leads the global digital, data and technology efforts.

Prior to Barilla, he has played a number of CIO, CTO and Chief Architect roles across large, global organisations such as Mars, Reckitt, Deutsche Bank, Fujitsu, SITA, Star Alliance and Adidas.

Consistently ranked as one of the top 100 digital technology leaders, he has a track record of nearly 25 years of delivering successful digital, data and technology services across a range of industries and regions.

He holds an MBA from the University of Warwick with Distinction, and an MS in Computer Science with Distinction from the University of Pune.
